Consistency is power. Ansible delivers consistency by turning deployments and day-to-day operations into versioned, repeatable code. The same playbook applies the same configuration everywhere, reducing drift, preventing “one-off” fixes, and cutting human error.
It delivers efficiency by automating repetitive work: deployments, patching, upgrades, baseline hardening, service operations, user tasks, and other BAU sysadmin routines. Changes go from manual steps to predictable runs, so you move faster with fewer incidents.
With Ansible Tower / Ansible Automation Platform, automation becomes governed and scalable: centralized job runs, RBAC, approvals, scheduling, inventory and credential management, plus logging (to Splunk) for auditability.
I use Ansible Core and AAP/Tower to standardize deployments, lifecycle management, and operational tasks so your environment stays reliable, secure, and easy to run.
If it runs on Linux, it runs better on Linux. This is true for many server applications, especially Splunk. I am experienced Linux administrator with extensive hosting background and strong automation mindset. Experienced with Ansible for deployments, lifecycle management, and BAU operations, and comfortable running and troubleshooting containerized workloads (Docker/Podman, Compose/Kubernetes basics). Focused on reliable, secure, and repeatable operations across on-prem and cloud environments.
